And we’re glad you found our website.
Our club is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year! During the past 2025-2026 season, we celebrated this with a fun pub quiz in the canteen of Sporthal Beijum, our home base. We can be found there every Tuesday evening during the season. There are training sessions for our two groups of junior players; the youngest group is from 6 to 12 years old, and the oldest group from 12 to 18 years old. Later in the evening, there is training and/or free play for recreational seniors. We do not have any teams playing in the league this coming season. For the playing times of the various groups, we refer you to the schedule.
You can become a permanent member of our club, but there are several ways to get started with us. There is a 10-session pass valid for one year; this is for players who enjoy playing badminton but do not necessarily want to commit to the club yet for whatever reason. There is also ‘Try Badminton’ to discover if badminton is something for you. You will train with one of the groups for a few weeks; badminton rackets are provided. This allows you to discover if badminton is really something for you. If you are not yet sure whether you would feel at home at our club, you can also simply drop by on a Tuesday evening to get a feel for the atmosphere.
There are therefore various ways to be active in badminton with us. In addition, the club has a number of traditions. For instance, we hold the parent-child tournament twice a year. This is a great opportunity for parents/guardians to test their badminton skills against each other. And there is the annual outing for the youth groups.
For the seniors, we hold the ‘Kokertoernooi’ twice a year, where anyone can be paired with anyone else. It is a hallmark of our club that, regardless of skill level, we all play together. Fun, sportsmanship, and sociability come first.
